I've been fortunate in my life in many ways, including having spent the early part of my career singing and touring with artists and companies including Stevie Wonder, Def Leppard, Patti LaBelle, Christina Aguilera, Wyclef Jean, Babyface, Jessica Simpson, Smokey Robinson, Lee Ann Womack, Kid Rock, Usher, Cirque du Soleil, Disney, and American Idol. I'm grateful for these experiences, as they enabled me to nurture and pursue my true passion: helping others to discover and develop their best voices. For over fifteen years, I've had the privilege of working with a wide variety of groups and individuals- including Grammy, Emmy, CMA, and Tony award winners, as well as corporate clients across an array of industries- to release mental and physical inhibitions, establish personal, professional, and performance confidence, and communicate with authenticity, humility, and strength. You can learn more about my Manhattan-based practice and approach- and how we might work and learn together in person or over Skype- by contacting me, as well as by visiting the coaching and classes pages. My experiences and ideas have also been captured in my book: The Art of Singing: Discovering and Developing Your True Voice, available now from Hal Leonard Publishing at Barnes & Noble and Amazon, as well as in my 2012 release, Learning to Sing: A Transformative Approach to Vocal Performance and Instruction. I hold undergraduate and graduate degrees in Classical Vocal Performance & Pedagogy and Psychology, respectively and am an active member of The American Counseling Association (ACA), Actors' Equity Association (AEA), The International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT), The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), The International Women's Writing Guild (IWWG), The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP), The National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Women In Music (WIM), The Authors Guild (AG), and The New York Singing Teachers’ Association (NYSTA).
